(un)edited is an intimate exploration of self-editing: holding back or changing parts of ourselves.
This exhibit is born of a contemplation of the layers that inhibit authenticity. In examining the habits that shape us - whether those born out of routine or fear - a series of questions emerged: how do we edit? why? and what becomes possible if we choose not to?
In this exhibit is a constellation of ideas, each communicated through a medium that honors its own creative integrity. They emerge from personal experiences of editing: suppressing, expanding, dimming, shapeshifting, amongst others. Some are expressed in static form, others in motion, and each a movement of its own.
Each piece creates a space to pause, and through that space, allows new possibilities of being. As you explore, notice what arises in you. Get curious about it. Honor the layers that have been built for your safety. Thank them. Open your heart to them. See if they are willing to let you get a glimpse into what’s behind the veil.
We don’t always need to be unedited in the world but perhaps, we can be unedited with ourselves.

We invite you to lift the veil of editing and share something that is ready to be witnessed.
A story, a thought, a feeling, a fear, or anything else.
Attendees were invited to clip their responses on booth strings so we could witness and hold the experience together.
When was a time you edited yourself? Wbat would you have said or done instead?
